Meet Our Head Counselor
Roberto Flecha, MA, MBA, LCADC, CCS
Mr. Flecha holds a bachelor's and master’s degree in Psychology from the University of Puerto Rico. He holds certification as a Certified Clinical Supervisor by the Addiction Professionals Certification Board of New Jersey, and he is licensed as a Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor in New Jersey. He is also a graduate of the MBA program at Rider University in Lawrenceville, NJ with concentrations in administration..He currently works as a private consultant and trainer in the addiction field. Prior to his private consulting career, he worked in various agencies as an executive director, most recently at Zinnia Health in Kearny, NJ. Prior to joining Zinnia Health, he was the Executive Director at New Horizon Treatment Services, Executive Director at Seashore Family Services of New Jersey, and Assistant Director at the Addiction Treatment Services at Raritan Bay Medical Center.
Mr. Flecha was a member of the Hispanic Advisory Committee of the National Council Alcoholism and Drug Dependency of Middlesex County and the Center for Policy, Development, and Research of the New Jersey Department of Consumer Affairs. He served as Board Vice President for the National Council of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse of Middlesex County, NJ from 2004-2005. He was also a board member of the New Jersey Prevention Network, the Advisory Board to the Human Services Department in Ocean County, NJ in 2005 and NJDHS-Division of Mental Health and Addiction Services since 2007.
He participated in a focus group from LAB-IV Corporation, which made a proposal to the White House on minority healthcare issues in 1996. Mr. Flecha also consulted for SAMHSA-CSAT as a contract/grant evaluator.
